Microsoft has slashed the price of its Surface 2 Windows 8 tablet by $100 in the US.
The discount on the Microsoft Surface 2 appeared on Microsoft’s US online store at the weekend, offering the 64GB model without keyboard for $799, instead of $899, if they buy the tablet between 4 August and 29 August.
The 128GB model has also seen a $100 price drop on Microsoft’s US online store, costing $899 instead of $999. Although the same offer applies to Microsoft’s online stores in Canada, Hong Kong and Taiwan, the price of the Surface Pro in the UK still remains at £799.
